The crew goes live every Friday on YouTube. The Doom Meter starts wherever the last episode left off — or the admin sets the opening level. The admin opens voting for the session.

Voting is open continuously throughout the show. Visit doomerfriday.com/vote or scan the QR code on stream at any time — you never have to wait for a round to cast a vote.

Cast your vote: ESCALATE (doom rises), HOLD (steady state), or DE-ESCALATE (doom falls). A cooldown then activates — typically 2 to 5 minutes depending on how many people are voting live.

Votes build pressure in a buffer. When enough net pressure accumulates and a minimum time gap has passed since the last shift, the Doom Index moves automatically — and resets for the next cycle.

The admin can open a round at any time — a 60-second all-in vote that clears every cooldown so the whole audience can weigh in at once, then moves the meter on the majority call when it closes. They can also override the level directly or lock voting when the crew needs to drive the doom themselves. Rounds are what the episode archive counts.

At the end of the show, the doom arc is saved to history. Level 11 means Omega Breach — Signal Lost. We told you so.
